been feeling more restless.

as in literally, i don't sleep well.

(which sucks, i love sleep about as much as food)

i have been smiling and laughing less

i've been mostly complaining.

and i don't know how i end up in this situation.

a situation where i can't quite stand how this guy is spreading himself around.

and constantly imagining, that in a slim chance,

what he does for me could all be exclusive one day.

but i know it will never be,

and reminds me of a sort of emptiness to feel.

i feel condemned that i'm always bugged by this lonely feeling,

afraid of judgements when i share my current messed up state.

because i'm not supposed to be in this way.

(why do i always come here to emo and talk about boring stuff. )

it really sucks.

i wanna be the person who smiles and laughs a lot,

so much that she radiates and lights up wherever she goes.

someone full of encouraging words, and positive perspectives.

also free from excessive emotional turbulences.

and i want my damn, good sleep back.

it's mainly of perspectives of various people who were affected by the incident.

i was working a week for some clarin's event at centerpoint.

centerpoint lei! oozing with ulu-ness.

today i re-serviced myself a little.

sometimes you do something so often all the time,

you don't realize when it mutates into something unintentionally annoying.

but i will not say what it is about me

in my attempt to be a mysterious, sophisticated person.

today's september 11.

i just watched a documentary on it.

i don't know why i didn't understand it previously.

but now there's such a strong feeling.

i started watching from the part a lady described how it was just any ordinary beautiful normal day.

she was told to evacuate her office.

they just want to get out fast but the stairs is too crowded.

on her way down, firemen were carrying heavy equipments upwards to where they left.

one of them left an impression on her as they met eyes.

and she cried when she said that guy probably never made it out alive.

there was also one photographer,

he was taking shots of the site when everyone was frantically running for their lives.

only when the building collapsed, he started running.

the impact was so great he was flying in the air,

and there was debris in his mouth.

he thought he was going to die.

but firemen found him, and even then, he was still carrying his camera,

unwillingly to let it go at all cost.

the air force was watching the news unfold from their headquarters,

feeling helpless as they haven't received instructions.

but they didn't realize they are the only ones who could prevent the next airplane from hitting the wtc again.

when they finally got moving, they didn't even do safety checks and launched immediately.

those firemen were heroes,

they were alive and well, outside the building.

witnessed the crazy plane in building from outside,

some even alr saved a person and made it out then went back in.

they did whatever they could;

put their lives at stake.

they could have shirked the responsibility.

but they knew the people need them.

after the incident, people sacrificed their sleep to clear the site.

also hoping that they can find any survivors.

but it was mainly recovery job.

when they managed to find a finger or bone,

they would send it to the hospital for dna.

one guy who interviewed said he cried for days.

he took it very badly.

he said 'this cannot be happening in my city'

but he tried hard not to take it in as he has a job to do.

he would join the guys and help to clear and pick up items.

nametags, any kind of identification, etc.

they would work for 16-20 hours, go home, take a rest for 1-2 hours.

and back to help out again.

there were notices in the office, people asking 'have you found my son?'

'have u found my mother?'

for the survivors, one of the lady felt blessed, yet also guilty.

she wondered 'why', why was she saved and not others?

they hated the sounds of ambulance and fire engines.

9/11 left a mess.

even though the site was cleared, it crippled a lot of them.

they cant forget it, but life still has to go on.

this happened 9 years ago.

and slow me finally got a gist of how intense the incident is.

everything just paled in comparison.

nothing that has happened in my life so far can ever compare to that.

but i feel guilty for getting annoyed that my family didn't care about 9/11.

and it's like any issue which is not regarding to terrorism or hungry africans etc,

just seem like non existent issues.

okay it's been awhile. i feel back to normal alr.

oh man, this is bad.

when i was working, i got so tired, everyone getting in my way irked me.

i will try to change that about myself and become a more refined person.

i've been feeling not too awesome for God knows how long.

So pathetic, any slightest rejection can ruin my entire day.

I'm no longer as strong as before.

i'm not able to go out alone these days.

i would prefer company very much.

My bag got stolen while i was working.

so i travelled home barehanded

and it wasnt as if i was wearing some casual wear,

looking all normal to carry nothing.

it was jeans and cardigan which needs a bag to go along with it,

plus i got dinner from cheers so i looked like some homeless drug addict carrying his bag of glue or sth

previously i was told my hard disk needed to be reformatted

now my wallet and bag is lost

which made me realise,

the things irreplaceable are those which are important.

it might sound easy to say, but i kinda experienced it the hard way.

it was more impactful when u understand that in the midst of the emotions man

cos i rly want that ticket for Remember Me back.

the one that still has the other side not torn yet

cos we semi-snuck into the theatre for dunno what reason

(and more tix for the other movies!)

i also want that little note a friend gave me which has a jingle bell cut out.

it looked so pretty and cute.

and those receipts for future references(/ entertainment)

but losing my (not-very-useful-but-still-can-act-a-little-cool) cards, earpiece, wallet, etc,

it's still friggin damn annoying.

my scab took 2 weeks to heal.

such a troublesome thing.

but it hurts

oops back from mia of about 3 weeks now

my macbook died on me hence i was internet-less for a week

unbelievable.

the macbook is still not fixed, so i'm using a loaner now

anyway school started.
has been eventful, of course.

i enjoy it so far,
ups and downs but still good generally

i wanna complain:

fell down yesterday while chasing bus 61.

landed on my butt!

i grazed my feet a little and got a not very deep cut on my palm.

it's no big deal la, but still annoying.

and that made me realize i am very whiny and always act like tofu.

work today was fun. enjoyable.

it was like war, man. battle ground!

haha the counter filled with stuff, so messy.

and pleasant, cos the customers were responsive.

i learnt that you are imposing on the staff the moment u step into the shop

whether u want it or not.

cos they are obliged to serve you.

and ppl tend to mess items up without even noticing.

yeah i didnt notice in the past, even now also.

unless when i'm on the 'receiving' end

oh btw, in case it's still not self explanatory, i'm working as retail assistant,

havent been sleeping well.

it was horrible last night.

and i'm gonna credit myself for working 12 hours on just 3 hours of sleep.

yes i didnt skip work and i am proud of that. hahah

and i noticed things always have a momentum.

sometimes u are excited and other times u might not be.

i believe it's not a good idea to suppress the momentum and keep forcing yourself

coming from an ill disciplined person.

but i really like the idea of freedom.

i feel yes. but not as often as guys

mainly, i feel it's just so much nicer when

a guy knows what he wants,

knows what to do to make the girl feel desired.
making the effort to woo the girl

so unnatural when it's the guy being chased

[unless it's another guy wooing him (hah, that was a joke. /: )]

girls shouldn't do the asking just because they're exasperated from waiting

it's fine to me, to do it sometimes(emphasis) as something fresh

or as a reciprocation.

today i went to kbox.

caught the promo price, 5 hours for only 8 dollars!

i'll be working tmr.(hopefully as not bad as i imagine)

earn some cash and lose some fats as well

i'm unimpressed at those ppl who just use functions for the way it is

and when it turns out good, ppl gets super impressed by those amateur acts.

ugh.

specifically for photographs,

learn decent photoshop skills and use the manual mode la.

best is that cameras now are having those crazy functions, making every shot look effortlessly professional looking.

some 'good' news that i'm not that excited about.

we played on swings!

JJ performed for about an hour.

Now he's not as charming as before.

my mum agrees for that. haha.

anw, i used to be his biggest fan. but i was actually bored just now.

i really enjoyed the drama/musical.

It was so quality, much better than MediaCorp shows.

i enjoyed singing worship songs in mandarin for the first time.

(i was actually pretty upset initially, almost cried.

just thought i might imply something.)

Then i went to changi for supper

and took the last bus home.

i didn't have such luxury in the past.

and super super thank God my mum was so patient and my dad wasn't mad.

they didn't yell at me for me reaching home late
(my mum nagged tho hahaha)

and they entertained my excitement rants.

these days have been super peaceful,

i'm excited for my life and have nothing to fear

i just had supper with my parents.
always those dumplings!
and today, a pizza too.
he used one of the chopsticks as fork.
(cos i koped some of it with his proper fork)

and i decided to try grapefruit as featured in the annoying orange 7 .

today i went to City Hall with Irene.

went for interview and out with my mum for a bit, but that's about it.

i've started to observe things a little more.

cos i find i might be too easily impressed.

it's hard to think of an example..

it's mostly people i guess.

oh i got one.

hmm i always feel that this particular girl has really hot legs, her thighs are like perfect.

bronze and the right size.

so me, having thunder thighs, will tend to admire her hot legs

but one day, i noticed her legs are actually not as stick-y.

there's even a little cellulite.

i'm not trying to bring her down.

cos she still looks good

my point being i was so impressed that i forgot thighs are not meant to be chopsticks.

i felt better about my thighs and they are not as horribly fat now.

(although it's not slim |: please don't notice them the next time u see me!)

how to say..

it's like, u thought that person/thing is oh so perfect, making u feel so inferior or u've got a long way to go.

but it's not that far cos that person/thing has flaws too.

just that u have to observe more, and see it for what it is, not just the impression.

went to settler's cafe today with the girls.

it's enjoyable and peaceful.

there's always this unique feeling when it's fellowship.

people never take as much notice as when it's still in 'blue print' mode

example, drawings.

when it's all polished looking almost perfect, people don't take a second glance.

but when the step by step is demonstrated, with those sketchy pro looking strokes, people then notice the efforts put in.

imagine how much more things we will learn to appreciate and find beauty in when we get more interested in those things we took for granted.

my eye friggin hurts.

and i just returned from eating dumplings for supper.

Sorry for that emotion outburst. idk why i got that agitated.

anyway, story time again!
(i'm desperate to share this puppy story before i forget!)

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell.
A little boy came and tugged on the farmer's overalls.
"Mister," he said, "I want to buy one of your puppies."  The farmer gave a smile and invited him into the farm.
Then he gave a whistle, 'Joshy!' as he called for the dogs.  Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Joshy followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the fence, watching with delight.
Then he noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse.
Slowly another little ball appeared; this one noticeably smaller.
Down the ramp it slid.
Then in a somewhat awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up.
The farmer noticed a warm look in his eyes as the dogs approached.  "I want that one," the little boy said, pointing to that last puppy.  The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, i can give that puppy to you, but you wouldn't want him. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would." With that the little boy stepped back a few, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers.
In doing so, he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.
Looking back up at the farmer, he said,
"You see sir, I don't run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands."

oh oh, i got something to share!
i heard there's some rapist around my area,
and he primarily targets the young girls.
then my frustrating sister still insisted to go downstairs in the evening somemore.
my mum and i couldn't stop her cos we were otw for dinner.

today i went to my ex colleague's place
it was kinda weird, cos i'm kinda extra there. lol
played black jack.
fun lah. so many people.
so my day ended well

it doesnt really matter how the day started
as long as it ends well.
for me at least

and i'm kinda excited for the next few days.
got plans till monday.
my holidays started alr, cos i have no exams. whoo
but i still have one more sketch so i'm going back to school to draw.
with yt.
gosh, i really love spending time with her
a week back, she came over to camp at my place,
and we chionged our big assignments together
sleep was such a luxury then.
we lived on 3 hour naps for those days
and we didn't sleep in the night time,
felt awake the whole time luh.
but enjoyable (:
it's so pleasant to be around her.
i like who i am with her

haha yes, i am aware i'm blogging about my personal stuff
pardon this post.

anyway, i like having lots of plans!
i have a life!
keep them coming in!
haha.

i prefer planned to last minute
especially for dates
last minute makes me think u're a player
except for with close friends.

I'm back to blogging (:
(apparently twitter isn't enough for my ranting)
i had intended to be in a better mood for this moment.
anyway, i tried using tumblr, but i still haven't figured out how to use it.
you know those cool cool quotes and pictures that u can reblog and all
plus u can follow people, like on twitter.
ahhhh, i dun know how to use that man.
yeah i know i'm noob.
(can anyone teach me?? (: )

i have a feeling this post is gonna be naggy. haha.
afterall it's been 2 whole months. (exactly 2 mths if u notice)

i intended to explore a new style of blogging.
but i still havent exactly figured out what
maybe just this; that i won't be blogging too much about my daily life.
if it's happening enough then maybe i'll share. haha.

but mainly, it's just general,
things that i wanna let people know.
while attempting to express myself more interestingly so that i can reflect on my thoughts without boringfying people too much

anw, i've looked through my older posts for the first time since i last blogged.
i realized that i was pretty in momentum for blogging.
i actually rly like who i was 2/3 months ago.
now, i'm not so sure.
i know it's not cool to have emotional baggages and all.
but now, i'm really afraid of people telling me i've changed for the worse now.
cos someone said that to me a while back and i was careless then, letting it affect me.
i'm trying hard to recover from it. so yeah.

there's this thing about me, i dont know if its good or not.
i prefer to be straightforward in my thoughts.
and since there is no one staring at me in the eyeballs, i'm just gonna be frank
personally, i really appreciate people who are real
i mean, even if the person is really nasty, but she isn't fake about who she is, we're friends man
meanwhile, i will try not cause unnecessary displeasure as much as i can.

main point why i wanna blog is so that i can reflect on myself more.
cos when i blog, i aim not to bore people too much, and at the same time be able to reflect on myself.
previously, i tend to explore new things, like read about stories, look at quotes and all.
then i'll put my opinion and share.
oh, the pictures from deviantart too. (hope no one's sueing me yet)
i think i should be continuing with that.
quite a feasible method.
also, with a blog, i tend to think during times when i'm free,
and if i manage to catch some revelation and it's appropriate, i'll shove it here.

one more thing, and don't laugh. (i've mentioned it before and i'm gonna say it again)
i'm actually quite a perfectionist at certain things
specifically in communications.
hence, if i don't express myself ideally, i'll *@#!^%.
so for this post, i would have alr read through and rephrased my words accordingly(or tried, i'm rly rusty)

Today had been eventful.
Went to collect Unmerited Favor.
i was so excited.
oh thank God my ankle healed a little! i can at least get around without limping.
But today had been messy.
I let down 3 people.
Didn't manage myself and my time well.

Just for records, i went to Bishan Park to play until midnight.
It was fun (:
Oh i wanna get an album to store receipts.
Before they rot. ):
and i found a mobile phone.
But i decided against being mean, and returned it to the girl's bf.
Hahaha, heart shape baby! inside joke. (:
But it was a good decision.
They were thankful i returned it.
But damn, i could have sold it for a few tens and bought clothes.
Oh well.
haha. joking, clothes are never gonna be enough.

Hmm, oh hachi visited my church for the first time.
don't think it was a very good impression though.
And i was really distracted.
I hate it when this happens to me.
When too many things happen to me at one time, i will get easily disorientated.
then i can't react well.
(how i let people down)

I've been listening to chinese songs these days.
Mainly cos so i can sing it in kbox. heh.
But i also realized they are really meaningful.
More than english billboard songs.
Especially old songs.

Why would you want to be somebody else when there is only one you and 6.6 billion somebody elses?

I guessed you've noticed this when you play jigsaw puzzles.

Just because the pieces seem to fit, it isn't always right.

I thought that goes for reasoning.

Someone says this thing, and you retort with another.

And you might sound right, but that's not definitely the case.

I feel sometimes when i quarrel with my mum, i can retort with the right sentences and i 'win' the argument.

But i know i'm wrong. It's just words.

I just fit in the pieces anyhow. So messy.

No wonder i feel so uncomfortable when i didn't have an open mind and kept insisting.

Also, i thought this applies to what people say.

Sometimes people might sound very logical.

The pieces seem to fit nicely.

But they're sometimes just mistaken.

When you look at the big picture,

you will then realize that piece is fitted wrongly.

haha, my main point is even though some things might sound really right,

it isn't always the case.

Solution is listen to your heart.

Oh, i rushed work for 3DD.

So much for last minute work.

I didnt do a good job for it. ):

I don't deserve to be trusted to do last minute work anymore.

shall try again next time. ;D

Anyway, i went for service today, with the cg.

Actually, it wasn't such a big deal for me, until everyone started to welcome me back.

Then i realized it was a big deal, kinda.

It was nice going back.

It had been a burden, not meeting them for so long.

I was kinda trapped in a dilemma, between going back to build my friendships and just do whatever i feel like,

So i'm glad it's over now, now that i choose to feel like going back.

oh, oh, i bit my tongue, it still hurts. ):

Rose

The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being She said, "Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?" I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course you may!" and she gave me a giant squeeze. "Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked. She jokingly replied, "I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, have a couple of children, and then retire and travel." "No seriously," I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age." I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one!" she told me. After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake. We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this "time machine" as she shared her wisdom and experience with me. Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up. At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor. Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said, "I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know." As we laughed she cleared her throat and began: "

We do not stop playing because we are old;

we grow old because we stop playing.

There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and achieving success." You have to laugh and find humor every day. "You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die. We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it!" "

The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do.

She concluded her speech by courageously singing "The Rose." She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives. At the years end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago. One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep. Sometimes, somethings that are not really bad, somehow gives people a bad impression.

Just that many irritating people happen to be doing this not so irritating thing,

but when this happens, the not so irritating thing becomes really irritating.

Haha, applause if you actually read and understood that sentence.

Example being, i've always thought online games are usually meant for uncool people.

But i've known one or two cool people playing 'lame' online games, then somehow,

these 'lame' games don't seem as lame anymore.

My point is, it's so easy to avoid such 'embarrassing' things,

and at times, even at the expense of your interest.

Will you dare to be the one to give such stereotypes a new meaning?

It might not be easy. but it's always worth the shot.

I've known several people who has done it alr, i never really told them that,

but i'm impressed.

That was so random. (:

anyway, i'm so very screwed. Still haven't started on my 3DD.

A lot a lot to do.

i just hope the 'cheating' method works.
